Effective September 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FieldCert (“FieldCert,” “we,” “us”), a web application that helps property inspectors create, manage, and generate inspection reports. By creating an account or using FieldCert, you agree to these Terms. If you're using FieldCert on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on that company's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on the plan and price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Free accounts are subject to usage limits (such as the number of reports you can create) as described in the app. We may change these limits, and may change subscription pricing, with notice before it takes effect for existing subscribers.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the report data, client information, and photos you enter into FieldCert (“Your Content”). You grant us a license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you — for example, generating your PDFs and pre-filling future reports. We don't use Your Content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
You're responsible for having the right to collect and enter any client or property information you put into FieldCert, and for complying with any laws that apply to that data.
FieldCert includes AI-assisted features — such as suggested photo captions, condition assessments, and draft answers — meant to speed up your workflow, not replace your professional judgment. These suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. You're solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving every report before it's finalized, signed, or submitted to a client or insurer.
FieldCert is a tool to help you prepare reports; it doesn't perform inspections, doesn't replace your license or professional obligations, and we make no guarantee that a report generated with FieldCert meets any particular insurer's or regulator's requirements.
FieldCert, its software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the service normally.
You may stop using FieldCert and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, or if needed to protect the service or other users. Where reasonably possible, we'll give you notice first.
FieldCert is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldCert is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages related to report content, AI-assisted suggestions, or data loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms as FieldCert changes. If we make a material change, we'll notify active account holders (e.g. by email) before it takes effect. Continuing to use FieldCert after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
